About 50 foreign university partners all over the world: Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Hungary, Italy, the UK and others.

Extensive network of international relations and active academic mobility: over the last few years students and lecturers of the university have visited higher educational institutions and have taken part in numerous international events in more than 25 countries: Armenia, Austria, Belgium, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, Ukraine, USA and others.



Every year, the International University «MITSO» holds at least 8 international events.

The students of the University are participants, awardees and winners of prestigious International Law competitions: the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (USA), the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition (Netherlands), the Jean-Pictet Competition (Switzerland), the F.F. Martens International Humanitarian Law Moot Competition (RF), the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Austria, Vienna), the International Moot Competition on World Trade Organization Law (Lithuania), Manitoba International Competition (Canada), Eurasian Competition on International Commercial Mediation (RF), the International Competition on International Law (Latvia).

Every academic year, students of «MITSO» participate and successfully present our country at least in the 6 major international competitions, championships and Olympiads on economics, management and law. In 2016 the team of the University won the 1st place in Martens Competition on International Humanitarian Law. During that year, students of Law faculty of the International University «MITSO» won the 2nd in Riga Moot Court Competition as well as students of International economics relations and management faculty got the Certificates of the 2nd and 3rd grade in prestigious International students Competition «Economics and Management» in St. Petersburg. In addition, in 2016 the team of the University won the 3rd place in the IV International contest on ITL and ICA ICC Lex Mercatoria.

To support the initiatives of students and further stirring up of international academic mobility of students, 2 times a year the University announces a competition of grants to finance overseas academic trips and student participation in international conferences, seminars, competitions, summer schools.



The university regularly hosts public lectures in Russian and English with the assistance of foreign experts from Brazil, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, the UK and other countries (16 public lectures, 3 course of lectures for 2016/2017 academic year). Every year there is a course of public lectures by leading world experts in international law: International Law Days at the International University «MITSO».
