In October 2014 a Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross was signed.
In April 2014 the University signed an Agreement with Microsoft, which provides access to the University to advanced information technologies, including IT-Academy, Office365. The university operates IT-Academy, which allows to have stationary and distance learning courses authorized by Microsoft and to pass exams for getting international certification or IT-professional of user.
In November 2013 a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Cambridge was signed with the help of its department – the Examination Commission and the Department of English exams of Cambridge University. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding confirms the intentions of both sides to explore the possibilities of mutual cooperation. The aim of this cooperation is to improve the quality standards of education in the field of teaching English as a foreign language in accordance with international standards.
On January 30, 2012 International University «MITSO» was granted certificates of state accreditation for getting status of the profile of the university.
In November 2011, the University obtained the status of National Examination Center ECL (European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages) - European Consortium for the Certificate of Knowledge of modern foreign languages. In the center you can get training and pass an examination ECL in English (and other foreign languages of the EU). This is an opportunity to get a certificate of the European standard, recognized for admission to a foreign university (in the European Union) or in the process of employment as proof of English proficiency.
During 2013-2014 years at the National Examination Center ECL 213 students of law and economics were tested.
From September 2011 International University «MITSO» is a member of the International Association of Universities (International Association of Universities), representing more than 600 higher education institutions from 150 countries.
From August 2010 the International University «MITSO» is a participant of the program «Academic Impact». Academic Impact is a global initiative that brings together institutions of higher education with the United Nations with the aim of actively supporting ten universally accepted principles concerning human rights, literacy, sustainability and conflict resolution.
The Labour Law Center has been created, that carries out different research in the field of labour law and labour relations in the Republic of Belarus and foreign countries. Since 2012 the Centre has become a member of The Labour Law Research Network that was established in 2011. It unites research institutes (centers) from all over the world, that study the labour law.
September 2009 – opening of the Resource Centre on International Humanitarian Law. The Centre is supported by the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other authoritative international organizations.
Students have access to the world's largest full-text database of legal literature «HeinOnline».
The fund of the library has very rare and valuable books and publications, including the English language, among them - «The Times», «The Guardian», «Harvard Business Review».
The University is a member of the International Association of Educational and Scientific Institutions offering personnel training in the sphere of labour and social relations.
The University was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for participating in the UN worldwide STAND UP campaign that was held at the same time in different parts of the world within 24 hours.
